The Challenge
Walking into a service center to have work done on your car or buy tires can be downright intimidating. There’s the smell of rubber and oil, parts and terminology you don’t understand, and you might have to spend a lot of money. How can we build trust with customers, while making their shopping experience less stressful?
Our Solution
Starting in 2019, our teams started to roll out our complete redesign for the over 2000 Firestone Complete Autocare Centers nationwide. This includes the exterior and also the experience in the showroom. My team created an interactive touchscreen experience that allowed Firestone associates to guide their customers through complex maintenance, repair, and tire purchases.
Using simple interactive visuals, informative videos, or comparison tools, we created content that helped cross-sell services without being pushy. The entire experience replaces tons of paper posters and flyers that needed to be regularly updated and shipped to each store. Now updated promotions and content can be delivered instantly to stores nationwide using a content management system (CMS).
