The Challenge
The Popcornopolis brand was founded with a singular mission: to create the world’s most delicious gourmet caramel corn. But their portfolio of flavors had vastly grown over the years and their old-timey package designs did not stand out or stack easily on shelves in stores. They needed their new popcorn products to stand out in the crowded aisles with tons of competition.
Our Solution
We took a look at the best competitor brands and came up with an approach to get noticed. We designed fresh packaging that highlighted the Popcornopolis name while also quickly showcasing the flavors and ingredients. Each line was designed to connect best with the different shoppers at specific high-end grocers.
The old-fashioned packaging designs felt dated and the cone shape didn’t stack easily on modern retail shelves.
The new packaging was designed to feature extra-large kernels to visually pop in the crowded snack aisles at Whole Foods, Costco, and high-end grocers.
We created designs for various product lines with many flavors to fit into different store portfolios.
